Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management activities across the full project lifecycle for life sciences manufacturing upgrades
• Perform estimating, cost planning, and change management
• Negotiate change orders and contractor pricing on behalf of the client
• Coordinate cost information from suppliers, subcontractors, and design teams
• Manage cost checks, valuations, contingency tracking, and commitment logs
• Prepare monthly cost reports and funding data presentations
• Drive value engineering initiatives and provide commercial input into design options
• Mentor team members and support financial management activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field
• 5–7 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry
• Experience with medium to large-scale, complex construction projects
• Knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in life sciences or advanced manufacturing environments preferred
• Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• RICS accreditation or actively working toward accreditation
