Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Lead cost planning, estimating, and commercial management for large-scale hyperscale data center facilities
• Develop and maintain detailed cost plans and estimates at key design milestones
• Manage change control, cost variances, and contingency strategy
• Evaluate cost impacts related to power infrastructure and energy capacity
• Perform cost checks, valuations, and reconciliation of contractor data
• Review contractor pricing and lead negotiations
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client on all cost and commercial matters
• Prepare monthly cost reports, executive summaries, and funding presentations
• Support value engineering workshops and post-contract cost reporting
• Coach and mentor team members to foster professional development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related discipline
• 5–7+ years of relevant cost management experience in construction
• Proven experience leading cost management on high-complexity projects (data centers or mission-critical facilities preferred)
• Strong understanding of procurement strategies and value engineering
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction consultancy background
• RICS accreditation or working toward chartership
