Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating, cost planning, and change order management for complex manufacturing, industrial, and data center projects
• Prepare and present cost plans, estimates, and budget updates across multiple project phases
• Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and vendors to validate project costs
• Interface with owners and project managers to provide cost estimate updates and executive reporting
• Support engineering and procurement decisions through cost analysis and value engineering
• Manage cost checks, valuations, contingency tracking, and commitment logs
• Administer post-contract cost control, change management, and cost auditing
• Review contractor pricing and support commercial negotiations
• Produce monthly cost reports highlighting risks, trends, and forecasts
• Mentor and develop team members while providing technical guidance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or engineering
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in construction cost management
• Experience with manufacturing, industrial, data center, or mission-critical projects preferred
• RICS accreditation or working towards it is preferred
• Experience in construction consultancy is strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of procurement routes and value engineering
• Excellent communication skills
