Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle
• Providing estimate and cost planning across multiple project phases
• Reviewing cost estimates with design services teams and general contractors
• Communicating with owners and project managers to gather status information
• Managing cost checks, valuations, and contingency tracking logs
• Leading negotiations on contractor and subcontractor pricing
• Producing monthly cost reports highlighting risks, trends, and opportunities
• Mentoring team members to support high performance
• Utilizing internal systems to track margin, fee, and resource forecasts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or related field
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in construction cost management
• Experience with data center, mission-critical, or highly serviced projects preferred
• RICS accreditation or working towards it preferred
• Experience in construction consultancy strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering
• Excellent communication skills
