About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle
- Provide comprehensive cost planning and estimating services for complex projects
- Collaborate with design teams and engineers to validate costs across mechanical, electrical, and cleanroom scopes
- Act as a key client interface to support decision-making and stakeholder alignment
- Manage cost control processes including contingency utilization and variance analysis
- Support procurement activities including bid packaging and commercial negotiations
- Produce monthly cost reports, forecasts, and funding updates
- Mentor and support junior team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or engineering
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in construction cost management
- Experience leading cost management on medium to large sized complex projects
- Strong commercial, client-facing, and communication skills
- Knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- RICS accreditation or working towards it
- Construction consultancy experience
