Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Estimating and negotiating change orders across complex construction programs
• Providing estimate and cost planning for large industrial facilities
• Collaborating with design teams and general contractors to validate cost estimates
• Managing cost checks, valuations, and financial controls
• Overseeing cost impact assessments, contingency management, and commitment tracking
• Preparing monthly cost reports and executive summaries for stakeholders
• Performing quantity surveying and change management throughout the project lifecycle
• Leading negotiations to ensure fair and market-aligned contract values
• Supporting team development through mentoring and collaboration

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or engineering
• 5–7 years of experience in cost management or quantity surveying within construction
• Experience with large, complex industrial or infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of procurement strategies and value engineering
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Consultancy experience
• RICS accreditation or progress towards certification
