About the role
Responsibilities
- Estimating and negotiating change orders across complex construction programs
- Providing estimate and cost planning for large industrial facilities
- Collaborating with design teams and general contractors to validate cost estimates
- Managing cost checks, valuations, and financial controls
- Overseeing cost impact assessments, contingency management, and commitment tracking
- Preparing monthly cost reports and executive summaries for stakeholders
- Performing quantity surveying and change management throughout the project lifecycle
- Leading negotiations to ensure fair and market-aligned contract values
- Supporting team development through mentoring and collaboration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or engineering
- 5–7 years of experience in cost management or quantity surveying within construction
- Experience with large, complex industrial or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of procurement strategies and value engineering
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Consultancy experience
- RICS accreditation or progress towards certification
