Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed cost plans, budgets, and estimates for a large multi-building campus
• Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, and executive-level summaries
• Coordinate cost data from designers, contractors, and vendors for validation
• Lead procurement support including pricing reviews and commercial negotiations
• Manage final accounts and oversee the full change-management workflow
• Maintain rigorous cost-control systems and monitor commitments and variances
• Support contingency planning and cost-risk analysis
• Lead value-engineering and cost-optimization efforts for MEP infrastructure
• Serve as a primary client interface for office and site stakeholders
• Mentor junior team members and support financial management tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 5–7+ years of cost management or project controls experience on large-scale construction programs
• Experience with mission-critical, data center, industrial, or large campus-scale developments preferred
• Consultancy experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of civil, structural, and MEP construction
• Advanced competency in budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting
• Proven ability to manage change-management processes
• Proficiency with standard cost management tools and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• RICS accreditation or progress toward certification
• Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management)
• Strong project controls understanding including cost-schedule integration
