Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on procurement strategies, vendor prequalification, and bid leveling to ensure a robust supply chain.
• Manage full-project estimating services, including developing construction and fee estimates and presenting value engineering recommendations.
• Oversee cost reporting by establishing schedules, reviewing forecasts, and maintaining commercial risk registers.
• Control project costs by reviewing payment applications, managing change orders, and resolving contractual disputes.
• Monitor the invoicing process and manage all facets of final accounting and post-contract audits.
• Conduct post-contract reviews to establish lessons learned and develop project handover procedures.
• Utilize specialized cost estimating and take-off software to perform all financial duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant cost management experience within the construction industry.
• Proven experience supporting cost management on medium or large-sized construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• RICS accreditation or active progress toward accreditation.
• Experience working within a construction consultancy environment.
• Experience specifically within complex or technically advanced facilities.
