About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide estimate and cost planning including producing and presenting final cost plans
- Perform all aspects of procurement, including pre-qualification, bid analysis, and compiling contractual documents
- Manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes
- Conduct cost checks and valuations on large-scale projects
- Produce and present monthly post-contract cost reports to clients
- Provide input into value engineering and negotiate final accounts
- Lead the cost management team and identify new business opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience preparing cost estimates
- Experience in Data Centers, Pharma, or Oil and Gas preferred
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Technical expertise in pre-contract, post-contract, and final account cost management
- Strong understanding of MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and civil/structural/architectural systems
- Proven experience leading cost management on medium to large-scale complex construction projects
- Ability to advise clients on value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing
