About the role
Responsibilities
- Foster a high-performance culture and mentor team members
- Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and procurement
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders
- Review project scopes, budget assumptions, and cost deliverables
- Develop cost reporting frameworks and robust control mechanisms
- Oversee the entire cost management lifecycle for large industrial projects
- Lead estimating, cost-planning, and value engineering exercises
- Manage commercial negotiations and contract administration
- Coordinate with finance teams to align billing with project milestones
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Engineering, or Construction
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cost management for industrial or manufacturing projects
- Proven leadership and team guidance experience
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Proficiency in Cost-X or equivalent cost estimation platforms
- Strong business acumen regarding technical and financial considerations
