About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead cost planning, budget preparation, cost monitoring, and expense tracking
  • Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, variance analysis, and contingency management
  • Oversee quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and cost estimates
  • Support tender documentation preparation and review pricing schedules
  • Lead contract administration, including negotiation and compliance
  • Manage variations, change orders, and contractor claims
  • Identify and manage cost risks and mitigation strategies
  • Drive cost optimisation and value engineering initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Engineering, or Construction Management
  • 10+ years of experience in cost or commercial management
  • Experience in advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, industrial, or data centre projects
  • Experience managing complex, multi-package construction projects
  • Experience in cost consultancy or professional services environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional accreditation such as RICS or equivalent
