About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead cost planning, budget preparation, cost monitoring, and expense tracking
- Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, variance analysis, and contingency management
- Oversee quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and cost estimates
- Support tender documentation preparation and review pricing schedules
- Lead contract administration, including negotiation and compliance
- Manage variations, change orders, and contractor claims
- Identify and manage cost risks and mitigation strategies
- Drive cost optimisation and value engineering initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Engineering, or Construction Management
- 10+ years of experience in cost or commercial management
- Experience in advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, industrial, or data centre projects
- Experience managing complex, multi-package construction projects
- Experience in cost consultancy or professional services environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional accreditation such as RICS or equivalent
