About the role
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery and ensure client objectives are met through effective cost management
- Manage estimating and cost planning stages, including presenting final cost plans to clients
- Handle tendering and procurement, including pre-qualification, tender analysis, and compiling contractual documents
- Act as contract administrator, managing post-contract cost variances and change control processes
- Conduct peer reviews of cost allowances and perform valuations on large projects
- Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to clients
- Lead and coach junior staff, allocating roles and responsibilities to ensure effective project delivery
- Identify new business opportunities and lead bid submissions
- Utilize digital cost management tools including CostX and various bespoke apps
Requirements
- Achieved Chartered Status
- Ability to work with autonomy and take initiative
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and delegate tasks effectively
