About the role

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery and ensure client objectives are met through effective cost management
  • Manage estimating and cost planning stages, including presenting final cost plans to clients
  • Handle tendering and procurement, including pre-qualification, tender analysis, and compiling contractual documents
  • Act as contract administrator, managing post-contract cost variances and change control processes
  • Conduct peer reviews of cost allowances and perform valuations on large projects
  • Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to clients
  • Lead and coach junior staff, allocating roles and responsibilities to ensure effective project delivery
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead bid submissions
  • Utilize digital cost management tools including CostX and various bespoke apps

Requirements

  • Achieved Chartered Status
  • Ability to work with autonomy and take initiative
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and delegate tasks effectively
