About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cost checks and valuations on large-scale projects
  • Administer post-contract services including interim applications and cost monitoring
  • Manage change control processes, variation valuations, and extension of time claims
  • Develop cost forecasting models to predict final project costs
  • Review and validate contractor invoices and change orders for contractual compliance
  • Perform financial reconciliation between contract terms and accounting records
  • Negotiate final accounts with contractors and resolve disputes
  • Lead and mentor junior cost analysts

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in cost management or post-contract administration
  • Essential experience within the UAE construction industry
  • Expertise in FIDIC standard form contracts
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with cost management software and ERP systems
  • Professional accreditation such as MRICS or AIQS is highly preferred
