About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct cost checks and valuations on large-scale projects
- Administer post-contract services including interim applications and cost monitoring
- Manage change control processes, variation valuations, and extension of time claims
- Develop cost forecasting models to predict final project costs
- Review and validate contractor invoices and change orders for contractual compliance
- Perform financial reconciliation between contract terms and accounting records
- Negotiate final accounts with contractors and resolve disputes
- Lead and mentor junior cost analysts
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in cost management or post-contract administration
- Essential experience within the UAE construction industry
- Expertise in FIDIC standard form contracts
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with cost management software and ERP systems
- Professional accreditation such as MRICS or AIQS is highly preferred
