Senior Cost Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide estimate and cost planning including producing and presenting final cost plans
• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle
• Review and participate with design services teams and general contractors in cost estimate development
• Manage cost checks, valuations, and contingency management for large-scale projects
• Develop cost plans through the design phase and provide commercial input for value engineering
• Perform quantity surveying, cost controls, and change management activities
• Ensure final accounts are negotiated and agreed in a timely manner
• Produce monthly cost reports for client presentation

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in construction cost management
• Experience with mission critical Data Centers, Commercial, or large-scale construction projects
• Degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or engineering
• Knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering
• Solid technical experience in planning, estimating, pre-contract, post-contract, and final account
• Recognized industry accreditation or currently working towards it
