About the role
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of end-to-end cost management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial control
- Deliver data-driven cost strategies to ensure projects are completed within budget
- Lead preparation of feasibility studies, cost plans, and benchmarking analysis
- Develop and execute robust procurement strategies and lead tendering processes
- Manage complex contracts, variations, change control, and contractor claims
- Build strong relationships with clients, developers, consultants, and contractors
- Lead, mentor, and inspire Cost Managers and Assistant Cost Managers
- Identify and proactively manage commercial and project risks
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Management, or related discipline
- 10-15 years of experience in cost management or commercial roles
- Proven track record in office fit-out, industrial/textile manufacturing, or residential developments
- Experience in a cost consultancy or client advisory environment is highly desirable
- Strong exposure to multi-package procurement and fast-track project delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional accreditation such as MRICS or equivalent
