Senior Cost Manager

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end Cost and Commercial Management Services for large, complex, and mega projects
• Advise at a strategic level during project conception to achieve client objectives
• Lead the establishment of project success criteria including time, cost, and performance parameters
• Utilize benchmarking and digital tools to drive commercial efficiency
• Establish project governance, processes, and systems
• Manage change control processes and monitor project finances
• Act as the primary day-to-day client interface to ensure delivery within time and cost targets
• Manage risk and ensure compliance with corporate governance and quality obligations

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience as a Project/Senior Cost/Commercial Manager on large projects
• Extensive experience in project control and commercial management
• Extensive experience in Capital Planning and collaborating with PMO teams
• Detailed working knowledge of proprietary cost management systems
• Strong business development skills to win clients
• Ability to lead and mentor junior staff members
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex calculations) and PowerPoint
• Professional qualification such as RICS or similar, or currently working towards it
