About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform pre and post-contract duties including cost estimates, procurement, and contract administration
- Complete feasibility studies and write procurement reports
- Manage tendering and procurement activities, including tender analysis and contractual documents
- Ensure timely and accurate cost checks, valuations, and monthly post-contract cost reports
- Interface with clients and consultants throughout all project stages
- Perform cost risk analysis, value engineering, and negotiate final accounts
- Contribute to best practices in cost estimating
Requirements
- Technical knowledge of Data centres or related facility asset types
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- Proficiency with estimating tools, applications, spreadsheets, and databases
- Proven cost or commercial management experience, ideally in a consultancy environment
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Fluency in German and English strongly preferred
- Availability for full-time onsite work in Berlin
