Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Provide high-value cost management services for a major large-scale data center development program in Pennsylvania.
• Estimate and negotiate change orders and produce final cost plans throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Collaborate with design teams and general contractors to develop accurate cost estimates and reconcile changes.
• Manage cost checks, valuations, and monthly cost reporting for large-scale projects.
• Lead value engineering sessions and provide commercial input for design optioneering.
• Perform quantity surveying, cost control, and change management to ensure robust auditing and validation.
• Identify, coach, and mentor team members while managing financial performance and margin tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of cost management experience within the construction industry.
• Proven experience leading cost management on medium to large, complex construction projects.
• Solid understanding of construction procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• RICS accreditation (or currently working toward accreditation).
• Strong experience in construction consultancy.
