Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Perform cost reviews, estimate requests, and develop cost plans from drawings and specifications
• Manage cost controls, change management, and quantity surveying throughout the project lifecycle
• Analyze existing cost data to produce benchmark information and assist with weekly client reporting
• Negotiate costs and change orders with contractors and subcontractors
• Provide input into value engineering exercises and drive engineering priorities based on cost impact
• Manage cost checks, valuations, contingency management, and commitment tracking logs
• Coordinate with design services teams and general contractors to ensure data accuracy and resolve scheduling issues

Requirements

• Proven experience in a construction cost management role
• Degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
• Experience working on large-scale data center projects or similar complex construction projects
• Strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate effectively in a client-facing role

Preferred Qualifications

• RICS accreditation or currently working towards accreditation
