About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) specific deliverables within larger projects or direct MEP commissions
  • Assist on feasibility studies and write procurement reports
  • Perform estimating and cost planning, including presenting final cost plans to clients
  • Manage tendering and procurement processes, including single and two-stage methods
  • Handle post-contract cost variances and change control processes
  • Conduct cost checks and valuations on large projects
  • Produce and present monthly post-contract cost reports
  • Contribute to value engineering and negotiate final accounts
  • Interface with clients and other consultants throughout all project stages
  • Lead and delegate tasks to a cost management team

Requirements

  • Chartered Status achieved
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems and supply chain
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload under pressure
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and clients
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
