Senior Cost Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate, and reliable cost and financial reporting to ensure forecasted project gross margins align with expectations.
• Maintain project master and planning data within SAP.
• Manage controlling and forecasting for project hours and financial setups.
• Develop Project Status Reports (PSR) in collaboration with Project Managers and key stakeholders.
• Implement project cost controlling procedures, processes, and tools, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure quality forecasting of the Percentage of Completion (POC) for effective financial planning.
• Develop detailed cost trending and forecast tools across all project phases, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Warranty.
• Support Estimators and the Cost Control community by providing cost feedback, market data, and benchmark loops.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical field.
• 8+ years of experience as a Cost Controls or Project Controls Engineer.
• Proven experience within the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) industry.
• Strong knowledge of professional cost control tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using SAP for project management and financial tracking.
