Senior Cost Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project budgets ensuring alignment with project goals
• Conduct detailed cost analyses and provide regular performance reports to stakeholders
• Provide cost performance analysis, interpretation, and forecasting against budgets
• Maintain the Program and Project Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) with version control
• Support risk assessments and assist in developing mitigation strategies
• Create and update financial models to forecast project costs and cash flows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet budget constraints
• Implement and maintain cost control systems to track expenses and variances
• Provide expert advice on cost-related matters to project managers and senior leadership
• Stay current with local regulations and industry best practices in cost engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cost Control, Engineering, Science, Construction Management, or a related field
• 10-15 years of experience in cost engineering and cost reporting/management
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or major construction projects
• Extensive knowledge of cost engineering principles and PMO practices
• Proven experience leading cost control teams at a departmental level
• Proficiency in Primavera systems and Excel
• Strong skills in financial modeling, risk assessment, and contract management
• Understanding of design review processes and their impact on project costs
• Familiarity with construction and engineering practices in Saudi Arabia
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
