Senior Cost Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and cost control systems aligned with project and contractual requirements
• Monitor project costs, revenues, and progress, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting (Estimates at Completion)
• Identify deviations from the Revised Control Budget and communicate risks, trends, and corrective actions to project management
• Prepare and maintain key project reports, including Cost Control Reports, Project Status Reports, and Cash Flow forecasts
• Support procurement, invoicing, and contract change/claim processes by analyzing cost impacts
• Track earned value, accruals, and cost performance throughout the project lifecycle
• Contribute to risk management through cost-related analysis of risks and opportunities
• Assist in project close-out activities, including cost reporting and financial reconciliation

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of cost control techniques, project financial management, and reporting
• Understanding of accounting principles (IAS/IFRS) and project cost structures (WBS/CBS)
• Experience with project control systems, budgeting, forecasting, and earned value analysis
• Ability to analyze cost deviations and support management decision-making
• Knowledge of contract management, change management, and project risk evaluation
• Technical knowledge of EPCI Projects, preferably offshore
• Fluency in business English (oral and written)
• Excellent command of the Microsoft Office Suite
