Senior Cost Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project budgets and cost breakdown structures (CBS)
• Monitor expenditures, commitments, and cost-to-complete (CTC) forecasts
• Identify cost variances early and ensure strong cost control compliance
• Prepare monthly cost reports, dashboards, and cash flow forecasts
• Analyze cost trends and provide early warnings on potential overruns
• Evaluate variations, change requests, and subcontractor claims
• Review subcontractor quotations, proposals, and payment applications
• Ensure procurement commitments align with project budgets
• Maintain accurate cost logs, coding, and ERP system updates
• Coordinate with planning to align cost forecasts with project schedules
• Validate progress and cost-related data with site teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• 12–15 years of experience in construction cost control
• Experience in luxury villa and high-rise building projects
• Strong knowledge of cost control methodologies, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and reporting tools
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 is an advantage
