Senior Cost Control Consultant

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control costs to ensure project financial health
• Manage cash flow, pay applications, and change management
• Lead review and commercial challenge of contractor pay applications and change requests
• Own forecast-at-complete and estimate-at-completion reporting
• Maintain auditable cost control environments across commitments, accruals, and invoices
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost control systems
• Collaborate with project managers, finance, and procurement teams
• Conduct risk assessments and implement management protocols
• Prepare detailed monthly cash flow reports and narratives
• Document and assess changes to project scope, schedule, or budget

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 7+ years in cost-focused project controls or cost management
• 3+ years experience on large-scale construction projects
• Experience with data center construction or similar infrastructure preferred
• Demonstrated experience reviewing contractor pay applications and change orders
• Strong understanding of forecast final cost management and variance analysis
• Advanced knowledge of cost control systems and Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Ability to work onsite in Holly Ridge, LA, Monday through Friday
