Senior Cost Analyst

Responsibilities

• Implement, administer and maintain cost control systems and procedures to track project budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts
• Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates and support change control processes
• Integrate estimates, contract values, and management reserves into a comprehensive cost baseline
• Validate contractor bids and ensure cost alignment with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
• Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) and change management
• Analyze cost and schedule performance indices (CPI, SPI)
• Lead development of monthly cost reports, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasts
• Present cost performance updates to senior leadership, project sponsors, and clients
• Lead and mentor junior and intermediate cost controllers
• Support business development and recruitment processes

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Project Controls, Estimating, and Cost Control on major infrastructure or transit projects
• 8+ years of experience in complex, high-profile, mega construction projects
• Knowledge of cost control processes, budgeting, forecasting, and change management
• University degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant subject
• Expertise in cost control software such as EcoSys, Prism, SAP, or Oracle

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Cost Plus or Cost Reimbursable Contract delivery models
• Professional certification such as MRICS or CCP
