Senior Cost Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership and decision support to the Latin America Supply Chain organization, focusing on cost of sales, gross margin, and inventory performance.
• Partner with the Supply Chain and local finance teams to deliver insights on operational costs and distribution center performance.
• Analyze inventory costs, including price variances (FX, markups, freight), and manage quarterly standard cost updates and accruals.
• Compute landed costs by incorporating freight, duties, and import expenses, ensuring accurate reconciliation for affiliate and third-party transactions.
• Develop reporting tools and KPIs to enhance visibility into operating performance.
• Prepare balance sheet commentary and ensure compliance with internal audits, SOX narratives, and local statutory regulations.
• Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly performance reviews while monitoring cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of related experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment, preferably within a large, dynamic company.
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Proven experience working with large data sets and the ability to automate manual processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment with strong communication and presentation skills.
