Senior Cost Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end cost accounting processes, including cost capitalization and allocations for inventory rebates and manufacturing yield losses.
• Oversee inventory accounting and reconciliations, ensuring proper classification across Raw Materials, WIP, and Finished Goods.
• Perform manufacturing and COGS analysis, including gross margin flux analysis and tracking FG movements.
• Coordinate physical inventory counts with Operations and external auditors.
• Support internal and external audit requests related to inventory and cost accounting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance to validate inventory movements and system accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CMA certification is required.
• 7+ years of progressive cost accounting experience in manufacturing, hardware, or infrastructure-intensive environments.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, inventory accounting, and costing methodologies.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or high-ambiguity environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of Big 4 early career experience.
• Ability to work with high volumes of unstructured data to create actionable insights.
