Senior Cost Accountant

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant managers and production teams to resolve day-to-day manufacturing issues
• Lead the preparation of monthly manufacturing scorecards with operational and financial KPIs
• Own innovation and site-level costing, including validating product costing for formula changes
• Provide recommendations for productivity initiatives, CAPEX decisions, and inventory management
• Drive compliance with costing policies and maintain process documentation
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and variance analysis for plant and senior leadership
• Support year-end audit activities by providing working papers and costing analytics

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or accounting
• CPA designation or currently working towards completion
• 3-5 years of progressive finance or accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with costing methodologies
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
