Senior Corrosion Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering surveillance and technical support for materials-related works across Capital Projects and Operations.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions and new technologies to address non-routine technical problems.
• Advise on equipment strategies and integrity operating windows involving complex corrosion mechanisms.
• Analyze and interpret corrosion data from various sources including coupons, probes, sensors, and inspection reports.
• Lead the design of fit-for-purpose corrosion monitoring programs and review detailed equipment designs.
• Perform risk assessments, root cause failure analysis, and provide recommendations for corrosion or erosion threats.
• Develop, implement, and maintain integrity management systems for new and existing operations.
• Apply fitness-for-service (FFS) methods to pipelines and static equipment to assess damage.
• Mentor early-career materials integrity engineers to support their professional development.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Materials Engineering.
• Proven expertise in one or more of the following: Asset Integrity Management, Materials Selection, Failure Analysis, or Corrosion Control.

• Flexibility to travel internationally to work sites and fabrication locations as required by business needs.
