About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and optimization of job descriptions, job families, and job architecture frameworks.
- Conduct complex market pricing, compensation benchmarking, and job evaluations to determine appropriate leveling and FLSA classifications.
- Design, model, and maintain salary structures, pay grades, and compensation guidelines to ensure market competitiveness.
- Execute large-scale compensation analyses, including pay equity, compression, and workforce trends, and present findings to leadership.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to HR Business Partners and executives regarding offers, promotions, transfers, and organizational design.
- Oversee the administration of variable compensation programs, ensuring design integrity and compliance.
- Support annual compensation cycles, including merit, bonus, and market adjustment programs.
- Ensure all compensation programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Utilize HRIS platforms to manage compensation data, ensure data integrity, and create executive-ready dashboards and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of professional compensation experience.
- Proven expertise in job evaluation, market pricing, salary structure design, and pay equity analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex modeling, scenario analysis, and data visualization.
- Experience with HRIS and compensation platforms such as Workday, UKG, or Payfactors/MarketPay.
- Strong understanding of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, and relevant employment laws.
- Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.
- International compensation experience.
