About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level executive administrative support to office leadership, including calendar management, travel research, and event staffing.
- Manage complex and evolving presidential and executive calendars, including meeting coordination and venue reservations.
- Oversee the reception area of the Office of the President, ensuring a professional visitor experience and managing multiple phone lines.
- Serve as a key point of contact for senior University administrators, Deans, Trustees, and other high-level constituents.
- Maintain accurate internal records, contact databases, and meeting materials while ensuring the highest level of diplomacy and discretion.
- Promote operational excellence and collaboration across the office to ensure efficiency and high-quality work products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of related administrative experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a superior customer service orientation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, competing priorities, and sensitive confidential matters.
- Ability to work occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting an executive-level office or high-ranking official.
