About the role
Responsibilities
- Cook for exclusive events, private parties, and corporate functions
- Lead station with confidence and mentor junior cooks
- Prepare and organize station according to O&B standards
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and plating specifications with precision
- Maintain accurate prep lists and apply FIFO methods
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Maintain high sanitation and food safety standards following WHMIS guidelines
Requirements
- 2–3 years of cooking experience in high-volume event or restaurant environments
- Strong understanding of professional cooking techniques and knife handling
- Ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure
- Physically able to stand for extended periods
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Culinary diploma or degree
- Valid Food Handler Certification
