About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the business development team by providing technical proposals and network diagrams
- Collaborate across control systems, SCADA, and IT teams to ensure secure connectivity
- Integrate and support industrial protocols like Modbus, DNP3, and OPC-UA
- Compile product technical information packages for project engineering teams
- Co-lead review and validation of network/controls product-related topics during project execution
- Maintain technical documentation including as-built drawings
- Capture design improvement feedback from design, commissioning, and O&M phases
- Recommend design approaches and equipment vendors
- Participate in product design sprints and commissioning phases
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Controls Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or similar technical field
- 8+ years of hands-on controls engineering experience in project-based or industrial settings
- Proven experience in project network deployments
- Strong grasp of protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs
- Familiarity with control systems and operational technology (OT)
- Ability to produce and read network and control architecture drawings
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for FAT inspection and site commissioning witnessing
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as ISA CAP/CCST, Rockwell, Siemens, or Schneider
- Experience with BESS, SCADA, EMS, or Safety Systems
- Background in energy, utility, or data center environments
