About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of reliability and uptime initiatives by troubleshooting controls and equipment issues.
  • Partner with controls, maintenance, and production teams to diagnose and resolve line issues to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Assist in evaluating and selecting manufacturing equipment to balance performance, reliability, and cost.
  • Participate in the installation, commissioning, modification, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, including OEM manuals, software/firmware updates, and safety notices.
  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Provide technical support to maintenance and process engineering teams to improve system understanding and resolution speed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of product manufacturing experience, OR
  • Master's degree and no experience, OR
  • At least 3 years of product manufacturing experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Fanuc Robotics and Siemens PLCs.
  • Proficiency with industrial vision systems (Fanuc iRVision, Keyence, or Cognex).
  • Experience configuring and maintaining SQL databases.
  • Working knowledge of the Ignition SCADA platform.
  • Prior experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) controls and integration.
  • Experience working with AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to design and install medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems.
