Senior Controllership Accountant

Responsibilities

• Participate in internal and statutory accounting, controls, intercompany, treasury, and tax activities
• Oversee key reconciliations in Oracle, including labor clearing, payroll analysis, and asset reconciliations
• Ensure timely submission of statutory reports and filings to fiscal authorities
• Review and validate tax calculations and controls
• Ensure compliance with Romanian regulations regarding Transfer Pricing, corporate allocation, and Pillar II reporting
• Implement regulatory compliance strategies aligned with S2P, O2C, H2R, and IT policies
• Support the preparation of financial statements and coordinate with external consultants for audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 6-8 years of experience in Accounting and Financial Reporting
• Experience in a multinational company preferred
• Fluent business English (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Membership in professional bodies such as CECCAR, CAFR, CCF, ACCA, or CIMA
