About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between Boeing Field Service Representatives, airline customers, and engineering teams to resolve in-service events and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations.
  • Perform initial assessments of airline customer calls and technical messages to determine necessary next steps.
  • Conduct situational awareness calls with customers and field representatives to gather facts and set expectations.
  • Prioritize and triage incoming requests, determining whether to provide direct responses or escalate to Subject Matter Experts.
  • Provide telephone-based troubleshooting and use technical manuals to deliver guidance aimed at restoring aircraft operability.
  • Coordinate with Lead Engineers and specialists for deep technical analysis and track complex issues to closure.
  • Document all case activities, decisions, and outcomes in tracking systems to ensure auditable records.
  • Prepare and deliver shift handover reports for critical or ongoing operational items.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial aircraft operations or in-service support.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing operational plans and objectives.
  • Strong technical research skills with the ability to interpret drawings, system schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Robust Project Management skills, including experience with executive-level presentations and reporting.
  • Ability to work an onsite schedule in Seal Beach, CA, including non-standard shifts (e.g., 7-on/7-off) to support 24/7 operations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with airplane systems troubleshooting or flight ramp exposure.
  • Background in airline maintenance operations or a Maintenance Operations Center (MOC).
  • Experience coordinating AOG spares logistics and working with supplier management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading customer-facing AOG meetings and coordinating cross-functional teams.
