Senior Contracts Specialist

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to protect organizational interests.
• Ensure all contractual matters comply with legal and regulatory frameworks governing public contracts.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to align contractual terms with specific procurement requirements.
• Provide expert advice on contract terms and risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all contracts and related documentation.
• Monitor contract performance to ensure all deliverables and technical specifications are met.
• Identify and resolve contractual disputes in coordination with legal advisors.
• Contribute to the development of contract management policies, SOPs, and standard templates.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure contractual compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in contract and procurement management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ability to manage tasks effectively under pressure in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialized postgraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Logistics.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, PMP, or CPIM.
• Experience in supplier relationship management and performance evaluation.
