Senior Contracts Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage pre and post contract requirements for the Infrastructure Department’s Portfolio
• Support Programme Directors in the engagement of Contractors and Consultants
• Administer Work Orders from award to completion, take-over, and final assessment
• Oversee monitoring of Contractor and Consultant performance against KPIs
• Review draft contracts to ensure they are fit for purpose and tailored to specific projects
• Lead contractual negotiations and provide guidance to Project Managers and Programme Directors
• Establish and review category and programme contract management strategies
• Undertake delay damages calculations as required

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in contract/cost management and administration
• At least 7 years of experience with NEC contracts
• Significant experience in claims management
• Experience establishing performance management frameworks for Contractors/Consultants
• Knowledge of building Key Performance Indicator (KPI) libraries
• Proficiency with CEMAR and Unifier
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and report writing skills
• Ability to lead a team
