Senior Contracts Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Contracts Managers across stevedoring, oil & gas, energy, and forestry sectors
• Oversee the contract lifecycle to ensure all agreements are commercially sound and compliant with legal requirements
• Set team objectives, monitor performance, and support professional growth
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex contract issues and disputes
• Drive process improvements, best practice adoption, and the utilization of new technologies
• Partner with the General Manager Commercial to adapt business plans as the company grows

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in contract management
• Proven experience in people management and leading teams
• Strong contract negotiation skills and commercial acumen
• Knowledge of Commonwealth/State commercial legislation and standards
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience with the Salesforce platform
• High level of analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
