About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Program Manager for assigned aerospace contracts from RFQ through fulfillment
- Lead contract negotiations, including terms, pricing, and customer communication
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Quality to ensure program success and compliance
- Manage project milestone schedules and ensure cross-departmental alignment
- Enter and track quotes and orders in the ERP system and validate PO flow-downs
- Monitor customer portals and opportunity boards such as SAM.gov for upcoming programs
- Support business development with technical contract inputs and pricing guidance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technical Management, or a related field
- Juris Doctorate or a law-related background
- 5+ years of experience managing contracts within the aerospace or manufacturing industry
- Expertise in contract lifecycle management, including RFQs and negotiations
- Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and commercial contract terms
- Experience using ERP systems for quote entry and contract management
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by EAR/ITAR regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting program delivery in aerospace or defense manufacturing
- Familiarity with ISO and quality compliance requirements
- APMP or PMP certification
