Senior Contracts Advisor

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the bid team during the tender process
• Identify, assess, and advise on key risks and opportunities
• Lead and support negotiations with clients across various construction contracts
• Draft, review, and amend contract terms
• Manage the process for contract approval and execution
• Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs and confidentiality agreements
• Maintain accurate records from tender stage through to contract execution

Requirements

• Law Degree (or equivalent legal qualification) with construction sector experience, or a Construction/Commercial Professional (e.g., Quantity Surveyor) with contract expertise
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts
• Strong working knowledge of standard form construction contracts (NEC, JCT, IChemE)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous in-house experience
