About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day contractual administration and monitor claim-related events
- Identify potential risks and recommend proactive measures to the project team
- Interpret contract terms and collaborate with project managers and legal representatives
- Review, log, and manage all incoming and outgoing project correspondence
- Support document control systems and maintain comprehensive project records
- Participate in project status meetings and support client or supplier meetings
- Prepare monthly reports detailing Notices of Claim, change orders, and upcoming events
- Manage incoming and outgoing claims, including entitlement verification and substantiation
- Assist senior management with dispute resolution and investigation processes
- Support project acceptance and ensure proper archiving of records upon completion
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering
- At least 15 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years specifically in contract administration
- Strong knowledge of PAM, FIDIC (Red, Yellow & Silver Books), and CIDB 2022
- Familiarity with Contracts Act, Arbitration Act, and CIPAA
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
