Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to support the launch of new projects and initiatives, focusing on West Coast fulfillment operations
• Support the start-up, validation, and sustainment of existing and incoming software and systems
• Recommend processes and modifications to improve production efficiencies and yields using PFMEA
• Determine necessary skills for equipment/process operability and establish training requirements
• Develop and coach current CI Engineers to build a lean-focused team
• Analyze data using statistical tools and value stream mapping to identify strategic improvement opportunities
• Employ standard-work to ensure safety, consistent quality, and productivity
• Manage a portfolio of lean projects using tools such as 5S, KPI, SMED, VSM, and Kaizen
• Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Capability, Pareto analysis, and Fishbone
• Create documentation for training materials, checklists, and standard operating procedures
• Communicate plans to stakeholders and incorporate feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• 2 years of progressive experience in a related role
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Experience with Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
• Knowledge of facility and layout optimization
