Senior Content Strategist

Responsibilities

• Define and own the strategic vision for SoFi's newsletter program to balance audience value with business impact
• Build and maintain business cases for the newsletter program for senior stakeholders
• Develop and execute subscriber growth strategies across organic, paid media, and lifecycle marketing
• Identify opportunities for AI integration across content sourcing, creation, and distribution workflows
• Partner cross-functionally with product marketing, editorial, brand, data science, and design teams
• Oversee newsletter operations including editorial planning, production, and measurement
• Establish a structured A/B testing framework and culture of experimentation

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in content strategy, brand journalism, or content marketing
• Proven track record of subscriber growth and audience development using paid media and social levers
• Data literacy with ability to define KPIs and interpret performance dashboards
• Experience leading through influence in complex cross-functional environments
• Fluency with AI-assisted tools for research and production workflows
• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) or 6+ years of demonstrated strategic leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with fintech, personal finance, or investing content
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into digestible stories
