Senior Consultant - Programme Advisory – Business Case & Project Finance

Responsibilities

• Support clients in developing, implementing, and optimising procurement and funding strategies for Net Zero targets
• Understand factors influencing major programme set up and development throughout the lifecycle
• Contribute to business challenge assessment and optimal solution implementation
• Deploy and improve established processes, tools, and systems
• Present ideas and outputs in a clear, concise, and engaging manner
• Operate within multi-disciplined teams to provide holistic professional advisory services
• Identify and progress business generation opportunities

Requirements

• Experience in project finance and/or business case development
• Experience in de-carbonisation, Net Zero, Renewable energy, Defence, or Water sectors
• Experience working with the public sector and managing transactions
• Understanding of UK policy guidance and economic benefit assessment
• Knowledge of PPP/PFI (specifically PFI Handback)
• Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills
• Ability to lead on bid proposals
• Must be a British National and hold a UK Passport to obtain Security Clearance (SC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree, Masters, or MBA qualification
• Experience with hydrogen, electric/zero emissions transport, batteries, or carbon capture storage
