Senior Consultant Pain Medicine

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with acute, chronic, and cancer-related pain
• Develop and implement individualized pain management plans employing pharmacologic and interventional treatments
• Perform advanced pain interventions, including nerve blocks, injections, and other procedures
• Lead and mentor junior medical staff and contribute to their professional development
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesiology, neurology, oncology, and rehabilitation services
• Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives focused on pain management
• Ensure meticulous documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional protocols

Requirements

• Medical degree and valid licensing to practice medicine
• Specialization or fellowship training in Pain Medicine
• Extensive clinical experience in pain management, including procedural and interventional techniques
• Must be currently European-based
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
• Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based medicine
