Senior Consultant

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using the Software AG WebMethods Suite
• Implement and manage B2B integrations using Trading Networks, EDI, and communication protocols such as AS2, FTP, SFTP, and HTTPS
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into integration flows
• Lead or participate in architecture/design discussions and code reviews
• Maintain and enhance existing integration solutions through performance tuning and optimization
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues promptly
• Prepare technical documentation for integration flows, mapping logic, and troubleshooting procedures
• Follow best practices for integration design, error handling, logging, and version control

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of strong hands-on experience with Software AG WebMethods
• Expertise in Integration Server, Trading Networks, Designer/Developer, and MWS (My WebMethods Server)
• Deep knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT), partner onboarding, and B2B transaction flows
• Proficiency with protocols including AS2, FTP, SFTP, and HTTPS
• Understanding of integration with backend ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills
• Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
