About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Climate and ESG advisory projects end-to-end, including scope definition, workplan development, and quality assurance.
- Design and implement decarbonization strategies, GHG accounting frameworks, and climate disclosure approaches aligned with SBTi.
- Develop and execute strategies for ESG ratings and disclosures, specifically focusing on CDP and EcoVadis.
- Oversee the collection, validation, and analysis of GHG data to produce high-quality reports and executive presentations.
- Support clients in integrating sustainable finance considerations, such as green bonds and sustainability-linked loans.
- Lead assessments of natural capital and biodiversity-related risks using frameworks like TNFD.
- Build and manage senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout project delivery.
- Mentor junior team members to ensure capability development and high-quality outputs.
- Contribute to business development activities, including proposal development and client pitches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, sustainability, economics, engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of professional experience in ESG/climate consulting or sustainability strategy.
- Expertise in GHG accounting (Scope 1, 2, and 3) and decarbonization roadmap development.
- Deep knowledge of disclosure frameworks including TCFD, ISSB, and SBTi.
- Proven experience with CDP and EcoVadis platforms.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and visualization.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in project leadership and managing multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in climate risk and opportunity assessments, including scenario analysis.
- Knowledge of natural capital and biodiversity-related risk integration (TNFD).
- Background in sustainable finance, including ESG integration in investment processes.
