Senior Consultant, Occupational Hygiene & HazMat

Responsibilities

• Conduct sampling for airborne contaminants (silica, dust, chemicals) and physical hazards (noise, vibration) to provide technical health recommendations
• Develop asbestos monitoring and decontamination strategies and issue clearances
• Undertake site surveys, including sampling of suspected hazardous building materials and pre-demolition surveys
• Provide technical guidance on-site during asbestos removal projects
• Conduct indoor air quality, mould, and moisture assessments and provide remediation recommendations
• Manage a diverse range of small-to-medium scale projects
• Assist the team with strategy, business development, and technical report preparation

Requirements

• Previous experience in Asbestos or HazMat consultancy
• Experience measuring and assessing occupational exposure to chemical, physical, or biological hazards
• Valid Australian Driver's License to facilitate frequent client site visits
• Strong appetite for developing skills in report writing, project management, and client relationship building

Preferred Qualifications

• Asbestos Assessors License
• Background in asbestos identification or fibre counting within a laboratory setting
• Trade experience in Building and Construction
